Resident's Rooms

All rooms are decorated prior to arrival of a new resident and include carpeting and curtains. In most cases, incoming residents will be able to chose their own colour schemes. The rooms are let unfurnished so that incoming  residents can bring their own furniture."

Central heating is installed, together with a T.V. aerial and telephone points.

An emergency alarm system is installed in each room, connected to the House Manager's flat and each resident has a key to their own room and the front door of the house. There is an entry phone system to enable residents to admit their guests.All residents are given a personal alarm to carry with them about the house and in the garden.

The resident is responsible for keeping his / her room clean and tidy. Residents may pay for outside help with these chores if needed.
